Silence is not an Option

Black lives matter.

Net Impact Chicago is part of an international community with a focus on a net impact for people, planet, and all of society.  Our organization stands by our diverse community and pushes for racial equity and social justice at all times.  Net Impact CEO Peter Lupoff says it best in a statement last week: “We know that silence is not an option when faced with inquiry and social injustice.  We have an obligation to stand up for what is right, in this time and place, or there will be no change”.  We need to continue to strive for justice, demand accountability, and while we all don’t have the answers to fix systemic racism, we all need to be part of the solution, take action, and demand change.

It is that plain and simple.  Black lives matter.

Net Impact Chicago is a community and we are here to support and educate those who are willing to learn.  In our monthly newsletter, we are including articles to educate you on key issues and understand the equity our fellow Chicagoans, our fellow neighbors, or fellow human beings are fighting so hard for.  Lastly, if you are wanting to learn to have more meaningful conversations about race, Net Impact has a blog for you to read or share.
