Honors Earth Week and Day 


Earth Day on April 22nd will mark its 50th anniversary. This year the theme that has been chosen is climate change as the most pressing topic for a sustainable future. To inspire change in 2020, Net Impact posted an article highlighting 100 business solutions from their Project Drawdown to check out, share with peers, or implement at businesses.


Honoring Earth Day will be a challenge this year due to COVID-19. The City of Chicago is planning an Earth Day Digital Event that will be posted soon.

Also on Earth Day, National Geographic will have an anniversary special. One of our Net Impact Volunteers, Natalie Grimaldi, was a Production Assistant in Maui while shooting their documentary series: Born Wild: The Next Generation. It is airing on April 22nd at 8/7c on National Geographic and Nat Geo WILD
