EVENT RECAP

'Chicago Women Take Action' Talk with IL Environmental Council

Given recent local elections in Chicago, Joliet, and elsewhere, it's important for us to let our elected and appointed officials know that People and Planet are priorities!

On March 21st, Net Impact Chicago joined a hybrid audience at Elevate NP in the West Loop and online to hear guests Iyana Simba of the Illinois Environmental Council and Sarah Moskowitz of the Citizens' Utility Board.

We learned of recent Environmental policy victories, the status of ComEd Franchise agreement with the City of Chicago, and ways to get involved in current legislative and policy efforts.
We thank event hosts Chicago Women Take Action’s Climate Change & Environmental Justice and Health Committees, Elevate NP, and the League of Women Voters for an informative evening!
